Yesterday was quiet at #HomeCrazzyHome. Well as much as it ever is around here. It was mostly just the two of them…Cookie Monster and PanKwake…playing on the computer. Minecraft of course. I even attempted a nap and some reading.
I LOVE days like that!
Some times the ordinary is truly extraordinary. That is how I feel in the quiet this morning…
Tomorrow is mine and Cookie’s first anniversary. I used to joke him…you wanted a girlfriend and you got a girlfriend, a cat, a daughter and one of everything pink that PoundLand ever sold. When she heard this PanKwake said…and Argos too!
PanKwake often asks me…what did you think when you Cookie Monster playing Minecraft?
You see she got him addicted to it. No, seriously…long after she had left the gaming room for her YouTube videos and quiet of PinkTopia, he was still at the computer mining or fishing or fighting zombies. I am not even exactly sure what time he came to bed.
And I don’t care. He needs some release…down time…as much as she does.
You see Radical Unschooling is a lifestyle. A lifestyle of acceptance. It is magic. Seeing and learning new things in different ways…respecting and accepting the differences and beauty in us all.
It never stops…not even for the weekend…
And I would not have it any other way. I love our life. We are a RADICAL UNSCHOOLING FAMILY!
